Overview

Fast, Automated Analysis of cfDNA

The LabChip cfDNA assay is a robust, high-throughput, automated, and easy-to-use assay that delivers digital assessment of cfDNA concentration, size of up to 96 cfDNA samples in one chip preparation in less than 1.5 hours, and provides qualitative information about contaminants in the cfDNA sample.

Improved cfDNA Analysis:

The LabChip cfDNA Assay incorporates a 50 base pair DNA as an internal standard (that is closer in size to the cfDNA smears) instead of a high molecular weight upper marker typically used for DNA quantitation to correct the sample injection bias and enable improved quantitation accuracy. Faster analysis and the ability to analyze cfDNA in the low pg/µL range.

How Low Can You Go?

The LabChip cfDNA Assay is capable of detecting cfDNA samples with concentrations as low as 25 pg/μL (S/N>3), and the assay has a linear range of 50-1000 pg/μL. Quantitation accuracy is within ±20% of the target concentration and sizing accuracy is within ±10% of the target size.

Assay compatibility with cfDNA extraction workflow

This assay can be used to analyze cfDNA samples extracted using chemagic cfDNA extraction kits and other commercially available extraction kits.

Consumables needed for the cfDNA assay

  • X-mark chip: LabChip DNA X-Mark chip is sold separately (P/N CLS144006, LabChip GX Touch HT); (P/N CLS145331 for LabChip GX Touch 24).
  • cfDNA assay reagent kit (P/N CLS157242).
