The AlphaLISA™ SureFire® Ultra™ Human Total RAPTOR assay is a sandwich immunoassay for quantitative detection of total RAPTOR in cellular lysates using Alpha Technology.
Regulatory-associated protein of mTOR, also known as raptor, RPTOR, or KIAA1303, is an adapter protein encoded by the RPTOR gene. RAPTOR is part of the mTOR complex1 (mTORC1) which also includes mTOR, GL, and DEPTOR. mTORC1 is a growth regulator that detects and combines a variety of dietary and environmental stimuli, including growth factors, energy levels, cellular stress, and amino acids. mTOR inhibitors (PIKKs) include rapamycin and its analogs, which have demonstrated tumor responses in human studies. mTORC1 is associated with breast, ovarian, cervical, liver, gastric, colorectal, lung, and brain cancers.
The AlphaLISA SureFire Human Total RAPTOR Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of total RAPTOR in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
