Fluorescein-labeled streptavidin.
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Streptavidin-fluorescein has an extremely high affinity for biotin, and can be used to detect biotinylated proteins and provide signal amplification. Proteins such as biotinylated secondary antibodies or other macromolecules used in applications such as in situ hybridization, immunofluorescence, or fluorescence-activated cell sorting and analysis can be detected and their signal amplified.
