The XIC-3 Animal Isolation Chamber is designed for use with Revvity’s in vivo imaging systems and serves to help maintain biological separation of anesthetized mice or small rats before imaging procedures. This separation is supported by filtering both the incoming gas mixture and the exhaust gas exiting the chamber. The XIC-3 features a sealed enclosure that is intended to remain closed while inside the IVIS light-box. Keeping the chamber sealed during imaging helps reduce the chance of introducing pathogens and limits the release of anesthetic gases into the surrounding environment.
