Supporting high-throughput well-plate or tube homogenizing and jar cryo-milling
Bench and lab scientists are no strangers to SBS formats for tubes and microplates/well-plates that feed into downstream liquid handling. Well-plate formats offer standardization and throughput for a myriad of applications, including collecting cells or harvesting small quantities of tissues and other biological matrices. Well-plates are also amenable to streamlining processes using automation. Well-plate homogenization, such as with the Omni Bead Ruptor 96+ well-plate homogenizer, helps labs scale their early sample prep throughput from more tedious and manual mortar-and-pestle or hand-held homogenizer methods. The 96-well plate format allows labs to easily continue from lysis into analyte extraction and prep.
Accessories are also available that make this well-plate homogenizer compatible with cryo-milling in jars, as well as support classic bead-milling in lysis tubes.
