SAH-d2, s-adenosylmethinionine coupled to d2 acceptor dye, is one of the essential components of the EPIgeneous Methyltransferase assay. The assay is compatible with most enzyme SAM Km (s-adenosylmethinionine), but when this level becomes too high the concentration of SAH-d2 during the detection has to be adapted in order to cope with a large excess of SAH produced by the enzymatic reaction.
