Overview

The Omnibeads contain all the chemicals necessary for a strong AlphaScreen signal without the need of an AlphaScreen Acceptor bead. The only variations that will be detected when reading plates filled with Omnibeads are caused by either the dispensing of the beads into the plate, or the reading of the signal from the wells. Using Omnibeads allows the user to identify instrumentation problems in a simple, highly reproducible, and cost-effective manner, and effect instrument calibration or normalization as needed.
