Nucleophosmin (NPM, Nucleolar Phosphoprotein B23, No38, or Numatrin) is a highly conserved, abundant nucleolar protein found in the nuclei of proliferating cells. NPM is a chaperone protein that shuttles rapidly between the nucleus and cytoplasm. It plays key roles in ribosome biogenesis, centrosome duplication, genomic stability, cell cycle progression, and apoptosis. NPM overexpression, mutation, rearrangement, or deletion, is associated with several types of cancer.

The AlphaLISA SureFire Human Total NPM Detection Kit Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of total NPM in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.

• The HV (high volume) kit contains reagents to run 100 wells in 96-well format, using a 60 μL reaction volume.
• The 500-point kit contains enough reagents to run 500 wells in 384-well format, using a 20 μL reaction volume.
