  • Murine Double Minute 2 (MDM2), is a protein that is involved in a variety of biological activities and is directly linked to DNA repair, cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, and the development of numerous illnesses. One of the most well-known E3 ligases, MDM2, is called upon by bifunctional PROTACs to cause ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal destruction of a target protein. Identifying new PROTAC MDM2 ligands can improve selective proteasomal-dependent degradation of proteins of interest, involved in the onset of diseases such as cancers, neurodegenerative disease, and metabolic disorders.

The AlphaLISA SureFire Human Phospho-MDM2 (Ser166) Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of phospho-MDM2 (Ser166) in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
