Overview
Streptavidin-horseradish (HRP) can be used to detect biotinylated proteins, including secondary antibodies or other macromolecules, and to amplify their signal. With an extremely high affinity for biotin, HRP-labeled streptavidin provides signal amplification in applications such as in situ hybridization, ELISA, and immunohistochemistry assays.
