Overview
The normalization standard is an integral tool in determining and documenting Instrument Performance Assessments (IPA) on the MicroBeta2®. The normalization standard contains a known amount of Tritium and Carbon-14 for determining counting efficiency. Consistent use and documentation of the results from counting the normalization standard enables users to validate the performance of their instrument over time.
