Overview

Aminodigoxigenin (DIG) labeled labeled dideoxyguanosine triphosphate is biologically active and can be incorporated with a variety of DNA polymerases including Taq, Klenow fragment, and Sequenase™. It terminates further incorporation and enables identification of the complementary base for applications like DNA sequencing and detection of point mutations. Aminodigoxigenin-labeled products may be detected with anti-DIG antibody conjugates. For the highest sensitivity in detection, we recommend using an anti-DIG-HRP conjugate with tyramide signal amplification (TSA).

The number "9" in the compound name refers to the length of the linker arm between dCTP and the label.
