Our lyophilized ATP Standard is a reagent designed for calibrating luminescence assays with precision. Each vial undergoes testing to ensure low background interference and optimal reactivity with luciferase-luciferin reagents. The lyophilized powder offers a longer shelf-life and heat resistance compared to liquid formats. Ideal for constructing multi-point standard curves, this product enables researchers to convert luminescence units into absolute molar concentrations with confidence and reproducibility.

Preparation of 10 mM ATP Solution:

  1. Check the ATP amount on the vial label. (provided in μmole)
  2. Calculate the volume of water needed using the formula: Volume of water (μL) = ATP amount (μmole) × 100
    • Example:If the label says 11.7 μmole, then: Volume = 11.7 × 100 = 1170 μL
  3. Add the calculated volume of water* to the vial.
  4. Dissolve the ATP completely by swirling the vial gently for at least one minute.

This results in a 10mM ATP solution in water.

Note: Ensure the ATP is fully dissolved before use.

*Use deionized, distilled or water for injection grade water.
