Overview
This 96-well polypropylene deep-well storage plate features a V-bottom design and a 2 mL working volume per well. It is manufactured from medical-grade polypropylene to reduce leachables and provide an ultra-clean surface. It is recommended for the growth of bacterial cultures or storage of compounds. This 96 deep well plate provides a 2 mL working volume per well when sealed with cap seals. The pyramid bottom makes sample retrieval easier, and improves mixing within the well by creating a sloshing effect rather than a vortex when agitated. The polypropylene construction offers a low binding surface to prevent samples from sticking to the side walls during elution, and is chemical inert for combinatorial chemistry applications.
