Overview

Applications of L-[14C]Phenylalanine can be found in several studies such as (1) evidence for involvement of endothelin ETB-receptors in endothelin-1 meditated cardio myocyte hypertrophy, (2) separation of radioactive metabolites in cultured tea cells fed with [14C]Phe using high-speed counter-current chromatography, (3) influence of nitrogen/carbon ratio and complementary sugars on dextransucrase production, (4) aldosterone directly stimulating cardiac myocyte hypertrophy, (5) characterization of a hydroxymethylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitor that inhibits cardiac myocyte hypertrophy included by endothelin and other studies.
