IVISbrite Pseudomonas aeruginosa Xen05 bioluminescent bacteria was derived from a human septicemia isolate from the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC), used under license. For in vitro or in vivo imaging applications, IVISbrite P. aeruginosa-Xen05 possesses a stable copy of the Photorhabdus luminescens lux operon on the bacterial chromosome.
