Overview
Estrone sulfate is an endogenous, sulfated form of estrone. It is the most abundant form of estrogen found circulating in the body of non-pregnant women and normal men. Estrone sulfate is thought of as a long-lived reservoir that can be converted to estrone and estradiol as needed.
