Automation of the IDT xGen Lockdown Panels for targeted next generation sequencing

The IDT™ xGen™ Lockdown® Panels are a suite of predesigned and customizable hybridization capture panels for targeted NGS. They utilize xGen™ Lockdown Probes, which are individually synthesized, 5'-biotinylated oligos, to enrich for specific genomic regions of interest.

They support the following research applications:

  • Whole exome sequencing (WES)
  • Targeted disease research
  • Minimal residual disease (MRD) research
  • Cancer Genomics
  • Pathogen Sequencing
  • Liquid Biopsy

The xGen™ Lockdown® Panels method is automated on the Sciclone™ G3 NGSx liquid handler and qualified for the sequencing of panels of various sizes. This application note describes a step-by-step detailed guide for the workflow.
